As the Business Development Manager for Hazelwood, Tom is driven to identify new opportunities through collaborations with First Nations, business, communities and other partners. He believes that carefully managed projects can provide mutual benefits for all parties, and is determined to forge a legacy of community and environmental enhancement.
Prior to joining Hazelwood, Tom worked in the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Industry. These experiences included work on a variety of proposed export facilities, development of the domestic market for LNG, collaboration with First Nations, multinational organizations, local businesses, government agencies and community groups. His educational background includes a Masters of Business Administration from Royal Roads University, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Pacific Asian Studies at the University of Victoria, as well as a variety of certifications.
